The problem nobody talks about

Every workplace has conflicts that everyone can see and nobody will touch.

The conversation that keeps getting postponed. The decision that goes round in circles. The tension between two legitimate priorities that somehow never gets resolved — just managed, worked around, or ignored until it surfaces somewhere else.

Sometimes the conflict isn't between people at all. It's between where things are and where they need to be — and the feeling that you can't get there without giving up something that still matters.

Most of us were never taught how to work with conflict. So we avoid it, absorb it, or push through it. And the cost compounds — in energy, in trust, in opportunities that never materialise because the real issue was never faced.

The Conflict Club exists for people who want a different approach.

What it's actually like

Small group. Real conflicts. Guided

Every week, a small group of members meets for a 60-minute live session. You bring a real tension from work or life — or you support someone else working through theirs.

A trained Host guides the group through a structured thinking process called the Evaporating Cloud. It's not therapy, not mediation, not debate. It's a way of mapping what's really in conflict, surfacing the assumptions that keep it stuck, and finding a way forward that honours what matters on all sides.

You don't need experience. You don't need to prepare. You just need to show up — with a situation or with curiosity.

The culture is constructive: warm, rigorous, and psychologically safe. People come back because it works.

Who This Is For?

  • Leaders & Managers

Who want to create environments where conflict drives progress rather than dysfunction

  • HR & OD Professionals

Who want practical tools for navigating workplace tensions constructively

  • Any Professional

Who recognises that the conflicts they keep avoiding probably contain the breakthroughs they most need

What you get

  • Weekly live sessions

60-minute practice with an experienced Host. Real conflicts, structured process, group insight. You learn by doing.

  • A practitioner community

People at various stages of the journey, all committed to building this capability. The sessions are small, the learning is grounded in practice, and the support continues between sessions.

  • Rising Above the Clouds

A book that teaches the method from the ground up. Written to work alongside the sessions. Read a chapter, work the exercises, bring your questions to the group. You get early access to the living draft — and your feedback shapes the final work.

  • The Clouds Library

A growing collection of real conflicts worked by members of this community. Each one shows the structure of the conflict, the assumptions that held it stuck, and the breakthrough that evaporated it. Search by keyword, find the patterns that match your situation, and build on what others have discovered.

  • The EC AI Coach

Your personal guide through the Evaporating Cloud process. Use it to practise between sessions, build your own Clouds step by step, and bring your completed work to the group.

  • Your AI thinking partner

We help you set up an AI thinking partner grounded in the methodology. It searches the Clouds Library, helps you prepare for sessions, and answers questions as you learn. And it grows with you as your practice deepens.

How It Works

  • Step 1: Join — immediate access to the community, the book, and the AI Coach

  • Step 2: Show up — attend your first live session. Bring a real conflict or simply observe

  • Step 3: Build your first Cloud — with community support and AI coaching, map your first conflict

  • Step 4: Set up your workspace — your AI thinking partner, connected to the Clouds Library and ready to work with you

  • Step 5: Deepen your practice — develop pattern recognition, assumption-challenging capability, and the thinking that changes how you navigate every conflict

The method behind it

The Conflict Club uses the Perry Approach to the Evaporating Cloud — a structured method for working with conflict that builds on Eli Goldratt's Theory of Constraints.

The Evaporating Cloud maps a conflict not as two sides fighting, but as two legitimate requirements pulling against each other because of hidden assumptions. When you surface and test those assumptions, the conflict doesn't get resolved — it evaporates. What felt impossible becomes possible.

The method distinguishes between technical assumptions (things you can verify or change) and adaptive assumptions (beliefs and habits that need to shift). Most conflicts are stuck on the adaptive side — which is why logical arguments alone don't work.

You don't need to understand any of this before joining. The sessions, the book, and the AI Coach teach you as you go. The method makes sense when you experience it.
